Crane Prarie has been fihing pretty steady all summer long. Callibaetis hatch around 11:30-1:00pm. Damsel flys are out all day and using a damsel nymph can be productive throughout the whole day. Using Chironomids in the morning is the best selection. As the cooler weather rolls in the fishing will get better. Midges will be the primary food source.

Craine has dragonfly nymphs, damsels, callibaetis, longhorn caddis, midges, scuds, and leeches. The fish should be moving into the channels with the hot weather we get. Fishing deep is the best method when the fish are not coming to the surface. As usual, suspended midges are one of the most productive methods, especially when the fish move into the channels.
