River flows are average and the fish are feeding!
Pale Morning Duns will hatch in the late afternoon along with a few PED's. Caddis will hatch in the early evening and stay through out the night. The most productive way of catching fish this time of year is by swinging soft hackles. BWO's should begin to make there way back as the cooler weather starts.

The crooked is running at 309 cfs which is good. As usual we're seeing lots of scuds, ants, Pale Morning Duns, Blue Wing Olives, Caddis, and Midges. The hopper dropper method works very well on the crooked, also with soft hackles swung ath the end of the drift.
