Fishing Reports

 The middle Deschutes has been high recently. The fishing has lacked because of both the levels and the temperature. Fish tend to get lethargic in this kinda heat. Although nypmhing deep can be effective in these conditions.

 The water levels have been a little off but the fishing is still decent. PMD's, PED's and Caddis are the main hatches coming off. Rusty Spinners can be seen in the evening. If the water does seem too high then the most effective method would be to strip streamers by the bank.

Water levels are good, and so is the fishing. PMDs, PED's, Rusty Spinners, and Caddis can all be seen. Flies like the Purple Haze, X-Caddis, Parachute PMD, Hares Ear, Serendipity, Yellow or Orange Soft Hackle, and Pheasant Tail should do the job.

 The Middle Deschutes is doing really well at this time. The water levels are good and the hatches are strong. The fish seem to be holding on to the golden stones, making a Clark Stone a good pattern. We're also seeing lots of PMD's and PED's followed by Rusty Spinners and Caddis in the evening. 

Salmonfly's, Golden Stones, PMD's, Pale Evening Dun's, Caddis all on top. Sure, you should bring some little Bead Heads too and maybe even a few sculpins.

This baby is gonna pop! Salmonflies all over the bushes and it is supposed to get to to 70 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday.
BWO's, some March Browns and caddis too, with the beginnings of the PMD hatch also getting started for the Summer. Yes, I said summer.
