Fishing Reports

Mornings and Evenings. Stay late! Look for big caddis and tiny cream mayflies, callibaetis and damsels and don't forget your ants and some leech patterns.

Damsel Nymphs are still the #1 food item, but it looks like the callibaetis are getting a good start now so they will become very important.
Flying and non flying ants are great.
Some good caddis action in the evening, but the travelling sedge hasn't totally started but be ready for it.
Of course leeches and chironomids are good at times too.

The fish are on Damsel Nymphs....Big time.
Not much else happening yet but the warmth should get some ants out and get the callibaetis hatching. Don't go there without those patterns and some bright streamers like a Top Banana or Yellow Wooly Bugger.

The snow is gone and the fish are hungry. Damsel and callibaetis are the main two items on the menu but try a top banana or a prince on an intermediate line for some good fishing.

Bring your white wooly buggers or streamers for the best atlantic salmon fishing of the year.
Another good be is Red Chironomids under an indicater near the boat ramp for nice brookies.
After today the weather looks good.

Early AM and Late Evening are the best times to fish here now. Callibaetis are on in the AM with good Damsel emergence about the same time. Try an Ant along the reeds!
Chironomid and leech fishing is always good.
Evenings are good times to fish Caddis and see some mayfly spinner falls.
