Three Creeks and Lost Lake are both good. The callibaetis hatch is strong along with good to great evening travelling sedge hatches. Chironomids, Leeches and Damsels are also suggested. Up at 3 Creeks the ants (including flying ants) are also productive.

You can't drive all the way in but you can take a short hike to 3 Creeks Lake now. The fish are feeding in the shallows, and right at the drop off. Try a sheeps creek special or a damsel nymph. Don't go w/o a few flying ants and parachute adams.
Lost Lake on the pass is also fishing well. Callibaetis and Damsels are good with evening caddis hatches. Scuds, Leeches and Chironomids are also good bets.

Lost Lake is fishing well with Callibaetis and Damsels.
Three Creeks is still snowed in about 2 miles down from the lake. It will be at least another week. Stay tuned.

Sisters Oregon Area - Lakes - June 8th, 2010
  • Recorded:
  • Mostly sunny
  • 61 ° F
  • Fishing: Good
Lost Lake is the best bet and it is fishing well.
Meadow Lake, Island Lake and others in the Corbett Snow Park area are accessible but no reports at this time.
Three Creeks Lake is still Very Snowed in. It will be another couple of weeks until you can even get up to the drift. Sparks lake is still frozen and it is lower elevation than 3 Creeks, East lake is about the same elevation as 3 Creeks and still has a little ice on the Cinder Hill side. I say this because I imagine that 3 Creeks is still iced over based on comparisons to other lakes here at the same elevation.
