East is fishing really good with Damsel Nymphs and some callibaetis.
Chironomids are also good.
On a guide trip earlier this week we had some bigger browns chasing (but not taking) buggers. Ahhhh, browns!

You can't drive all the way in but you can take a short hike to 3 Creeks Lake now. The fish are feeding in the shallows, and right at the drop off. Try a sheeps creek special or a damsel nymph. Don't go w/o a few flying ants and parachute adams.
Lost Lake on the pass is also fishing well. Callibaetis and Damsels are good with evening caddis hatches. Scuds, Leeches and Chironomids are also good bets.

We've had a couple of good trips on the Mac lately. Good dry fly action including Green Caddis, Green Drakes and Yellow May's.
Golden Stone Nypmhs are quite productive now too.

Hosmer Lake - June 26th, 2010
- Recorded:

- Fishing: Good
Damsel Nymphs are still the #1 food item, but it looks like the callibaetis are getting a good start now so they will become very important.
Flying and non flying ants are great.
Some good caddis action in the evening, but the travelling sedge hasn't totally started but be ready for it.
Of course leeches and chironomids are good at times too.

I took a couple of customers here on Thursday and kicked Butt on an Egg with a Yellow Sally or Roxy Rainbow dropper.
We also got fish on Green Drakes and Lady Di.
Other hatches and flies will include PMD's, Yellow Sallies, Caddis, Ants, small bead head nymphs and even a few streamers.

We have been having tons of fun on the Upper Deschutes, mostly on dries! A Steamer fished along the logs or in the pools can pull some nice fish too.
Seeing good PMD and Caddis hatches and also getting some amazing fishing on attractors.
