The Fly Fisher's Place has 3 great options for private lake fishing all within 2 hours of our shop in Sisters.
The Fly Fisher's Place is the exclusive booking agent for Canyon Creek Ranch. This 14 acre lake is located on a beautiful ranch near the Painted Hills out by Mitchell, OR. The lake is producing fish up to 10 pounds and can accomodate 6 anglers. The 2010 rate is $125 per person per day. A Cabin is available for $75 for the 1st person and then $25 for each additional person up to 6 people. There is a second 2 acre lake on the ranch loaded with Largemouth Bass and feisty Bluegill. Bring a Pontoon boat or Float Tube to access the best fishing. Fishing from March 1 to early Summer and again in the Fall.
Cabin accomodations are available. $75/1 person, $100/2, $125/3, $150/4, $175/5 and $200/6 people.
Longhollow Ranch is a unique place with great mountain views. Good fishing starts here in April and is great for the callibaetis and damsel hatch through early summer. Then again in the fall the fishing gets hot again as the fish go on a frenzy to fatten up before winter. There are 3 lakes on the property and we allow a limited number of anglers per week to fish here so the fishing is always fresh. This is a spot you'll remember and want to return to year after year. $150/person. $75 for 1/2 day.
Alder Creek Ranch is absolutely beautiful and just down the road from the lovely and challenging Aspen Lakes Golf course 10 minutes from the shop. This is a big lake, easily tubed or fished effectively from the banks. You'll find big fish here, with some 12 pound "brooders" dwelling the depths, but working the shoreline during a hatch can't be beat, reeling in lot's of feisty rainbows 2 to 5 pounds. $150/person. $75 for 1/2 day.
